We visited here April 24, was a bit dubious given some of the terrible reviews but would definitely stay here again. The hotel is nice and spacious. Rooms were serviced everyday - breakfast was a standard continental with enough choice to keep everyone happy. There are probably some areas that could do with a lick of paint but honestly we have had no problems staying here for 5 days. 4 star tourist tax payable on check-in - cost us an extra £50 Rooms have fridge, safe, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries- we needed more hangers but we didn't ask. No tea or coffee making facilities Great location 5 minutes from vatican museum -would stay here again

Definitely on the aged side with some threadbare carpet and such, but overall a perfectly serviceable stay within walking distance of the Vatican and subway station! My wife didn't like the cloth headboard (a bit stained) but, though I can't say I blame her, it didn't both me. Overall the room was pretty clean. The room we stayed in had 4 beds (was two parents, two kiddos) and was good-sized. The bathroom could use some maintenance generally but was fully functional and worked fine for us. Breakfast was pretty good, lots of options and seemed well-managed.

Definitely not 4 star, would barely scrape a three. Very tired, carpets very worn. Only lift or fire escape goes to ground floor and lift very slow! Room has no central light so is dingy. Hotel advertises a bar, turns out to be seasonal which is not advised on web site or booking for com. Hotel used by school trips to Rome. Wi fi very intermittent and weak signal. Breakfast poor. Would not stay here again.

Horrible Smelly Old Definitely not worth that price. The bathroom was dirty, I almost trow up in the elevators because of the smell, taxes are 8 times higher than all the others hotels I’ve been. Save your money, don’t go there

Do not choose this hotel , I could honestly it was the worse hotel I ever stayed in . We arrived a family of four at about 9pm after a long day of travelling , we went to our room which we paid for a quadruple room , the room was a double room crammed with 4 single beds , air conditioning wasn’t working and all the sockets in room were broken . Went to reception to complain and there was a big party from Australian all complaining about the same thing , double rooms with 4 beds in each . Receptionist said the usual that there were no other rooms available to come back in the morning . We had a very uncomfortable night with no air conditioning and no space to move around . Next morning I went to reception and receptionist said they were working on moving us to a quadruple room that we had paid for . Later on that day we were moved to a nice enough room and air con was working . Staff in dining room are so rude , they make you feel that you need to hurry up and get out . Saw a Spanish lady having words with one of the Waitors and he was very rude . They come over in the middle of your breakfast and start taking away plates with awful manners . If you want to stay in Rome and pick a nice hotel do not choose this one , very old fashioned , keys have to be put in manually and hallways aren’t that bright . Overall a very bad experience .
